In the summer of 2006, Living Word began an elite traveling baseball team. We are most pleased that during these past several years more than a dozen young men have made commitments to follow Jesus Christ as a result of this ministry. Our baseball club has grown so that as we enter our sixth year we look forward to fielding three teams (Eagle County League 19+, Elite Level 18 and under, and a 16U traveling team). We are blessed to have professional scouts and college coaches working with and managing each of our teams. We have competed well against some of the best programs and teams in this region of the nation and have attracted and developed some of the finest baseball players in Western Pennsylvania. Several of these young men are already playing college baseball and, no doubt, it is only a matter of time until some will represent Christ and this church in the professional ranks.
